Mahmoud Mohammad Qouqas

As I begin the sixth and final year of my medical studies, I’ve been thinking a lot about the journey that has brought me here. Becoming a doctor has always been my dream, driven by a deep desire to help others, ease suffering, and improve the health of my community. However, reaching this point hasn’t been easy, especially due to the financial challenges I’ve faced along the way.

I grew up in a family where money was tight, but education was always a top priority. My parents worked hard to support my schooling, but the rising costs of medical school have made it increasingly difficult to cover all the expenses. Despite these difficulties, I never lost sight of my goal. I worked part-time jobs and applied for scholarships to keep going, always focused on becoming a doctor.

Now, in my final year, I’m closer than ever to achieving my dream. This year is particularly tough, with demanding clinical rotations, licensing exams, and my thesis to complete. Unfortunately, it’s also a time when financial pressures are at their highest. The costs of textbooks, medical supplies, exam fees, and daily transportation are overwhelming, and I’m struggling to keep up.

This is where the kindness of donors like you can make a huge difference in my life. Your financial support would not only help relieve the immediate burden of my educational expenses but also allow me to fully focus on my studies and clinical training. With your help, I can continue to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care to my future patients.

Your investment in my education is also an investment in the health of the community I will serve. As a future doctor, I am committed to working in underserved areas where access to medical care is limited. My goal is to specialize in a field where I can make the most impact, whether that’s in primary care, pediatrics, or another area of need. By supporting my education, you’re helping ensure that more people receive the compassionate and skilled medical care they deserve.

In conclusion, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share my story and for your consideration of support. The journey to becoming a doctor has been challenging, but with the help of generous donors, I am confident that I can overcome the financial obstacles in my way. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of many patients who will benefit from the care I will be able to provide.

Thank you for believing in my dream and for helping me achieve it.
