Sami Mohammed Wahdan

My name is Sami Mohammed Wahdan, a 22-year-old medical student currently in my 5th year at Hebron University, living in Tuba's city in Palestine.
Ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of becoming a doctor to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Medicine, for me, is more than just a profession; it’s a calling to serve those in need, especially in underprivileged communities. The journey to reach this point has been full of challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. Despite the hardships, my passion and determination continue to drive me forward every day as I strive to achieve my goals. One of the biggest obstacles I’m facing is the financial burden that comes with medical school. With the rising costs of tuition, books, and essential materials needed for medical education, it’s been increasingly difficult to cover all the expenses. My family has always supported me as much as possible, but with limited resources, we struggle to keep up with the costs. As a medical student, the demands are not just academic but also financial, which makes it difficult to balance between focusing on my studies and managing the growing expenses. However my father is the sole provider for our family, which consist of 8 members, and he is unemployed since 7/OCT due to the situation in my country Palestine.
Donors’ contributions would make an immense difference in my educational journey. With additional support, I would be able to focus more on my studies without constantly worrying about how to pay for the next semester or buy the necessary resources. Your generosity would not only help me succeed academically but also enable me to enhance my practical skills and become a more competent and compassionate physician. With the right support, I can gain access to better learning materials, attend workshops, and acquire hands-on training that is essential in the medical field. The impact of such support goes beyond just financial relief; it would provide me with the opportunity to grow as a future healthcare provider. I am deeply committed to giving back to the community once I have completed my studies.
My goal is to serve in areas where medical care is scarce and where there is a need for dedicated healthcare professionals. I believe that helping others is a responsibility that comes with the privilege of education, and I plan to contribute as much as I can in the future. I envision myself working in community clinics, offering healthcare services to those who cannot afford it, and educating people about preventive health measures. It is my way of ensuring that the generosity shown to me is paid forward to those who need it most. In conclusion, I am determined to overcome every challenge that comes my way. I am filled with hope that with your support, I can continue to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. I am incredibly grateful for any assistance that can help me achieve my goal of making a positive impact in the world through medicine. Your belief in my journey could be the key to unlocking a future where I can make a difference in the lives of many. Thank you for considering this and being a part of my story.
Best regards,
Sami Wahdan
