Weam Almahdi

Hello, I am the student Wi'am Khaled Suleiman Al-Shawabkeh from Al-Fawwar Refugee Camp, south of Hebron. I study at Al-Quds Open University, majoring in Primary Education.

I recorded this video with a heavy heart and a devastated spirit, as I never thought I would reach the point where I have to ask for help. However, the living conditions and the war have forced me into this situation, and it is only natural that I find myself here.

If you ask why I specifically need help, I mentioned that I live in a refugee camp where the living and health conditions are extremely difficult—far worse than you can imagine.

If you ask how the war has affected me, my parents are government employees, and before the war, their salaries were at 80%. After the war, they dropped to 50%. Can you imagine? 50% for a family? How are we supposed to manage? We can't even afford the basic necessities of life. I am not alone in the household; I have four brothers, one in university who needs tuition fees and another in high school who needs courses.

I appeal to you and hope that you can help me continue my educational journey.

السلام عليكم انا الطالبة وئام خالد سليمان الشوابكة من مخيم الفوار للاجئين الفلسطينيين جنوب الخليل بدرس بجامعة القدس المفتوحة تخصص مرحلة اساسية انا بسجل هاد الفيديو وانا قلبي بوجعني ونفسيتي مدمرة اني انا وصلت لهاي المرحلة مرحلة اني اطلب المساعدة بس الوضع المعيشي والحرب هية فرضت علي اكون هيك فطبيعي واقل من الطبيعي اني اكون هيك اذا بدك تسالني لي انا بالذات لازم تساعدني انا ذكرتلك اني انا بعيش بمخيم للاجئين واصعب ظروف ممكن انو يعيشها الانسان ظروف المخيم ظروف معيشية وصحية كثير صعبة اصعب ما بتتخيلو واذا بدك تسالني لي الحرب اثرت علي انا اهلي موظفين حكوميين وقبل الحرب كانوا الرواتب ٨٠بالمية بعد الحرب صار ٥٠بالمية انت متخيل ٥٠بالمية لعيلة شو بدو يعمل ابسط ظروف الحياة مش قادرين نامنها وانا مش لحالي بالدار انا عندي اربع اخوك واحد جامعة بدو اقساط اواحد توجيهي بدو دورات انا بناشد وبتمنى منكو انكو تساعدوني اني اقدر اكمل مسيرتي التعليمية ارجو عدم مشاركة الفيديو على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
