Saja Salahuddin Irfan Huwaishil

My name is Saja, and I am a student from Gaza. Education has always been my path to achieving my dreams, and I have worked hard since childhood to reach an outstanding academic level. However, life in Gaza is not easy; alongside the challenges of the ongoing blockade, I have experienced repeated wars that have made pursuing education a daunting, sometimes nearly impossible, task.
During the last war, my university was completely destroyed, taking with it my dreams and life plans. I was in the middle of my university studies, but the destruction of buildings and the loss of opportunities halted everything abruptly. This event left me feeling frustrated and lost, as I realized that the path I had been passionately following was no longer available.
I tried to continue my studies by enrolling as a visiting student in universities in the West Bank and later studying online, but things did not go well due to internet difficulties and other issues, such as the inability to print lectures or buy study materials due to the blockade, or the martyrdom of some professors, which resulted in a shortage of teaching staff and expertise.
At that point, I realized that the only solution to save my future was to seek an opportunity to continue my studies abroad, where I could obtain stable and safe education. However, I face significant difficulties in securing university admission and the necessary funding. Applying to universities requires fees and other expenses, in addition to the costs associated with travel and living.
I write this request to reach out to the compassionate hearts of donors and supporting organizations, hoping to find someone to help me complete my educational journey. The support I seek is not just to cover financial costs; it represents a new opportunity that gives me hope for realizing my dreams after despair nearly crept into my heart.
I am currently seeking to apply to several foreign universities in fields that align with my ambitions, and I aspire to begin my academic journey soon. However, I am in urgent need of support to cover application fees and required tests, as well as assistance in providing study materials such as books and references.
I promise to work hard to live up to your expectations and to invest this opportunity positively. My dream is to return to Gaza after completing my studies to contribute to rebuilding the community and supporting future generations with the knowledge I will gain. I hope to participate in educational and developmental projects that empower young people to overcome the challenges I have faced myself.
Your support at this stage will be more than just financial assistance; it will be a message of hope that the future still holds opportunities, even in the toughest circumstances.
Thank you to everyone who reads my message and considers providing support. I hope you will grant me the opportunity to rebuild my future and continue my educational journey, which I believe is not only for my personal benefit but also to serve my community and my country.
With sincere gratitude,
Saja
