Transitioning from Computer Information Systems to Primary Education

My decision to study Computer Information Systems was a natural step at the beginning of my academic journey. I believed that this field would offer me vast opportunities in the job market. I studied diligently and completed my degree, hoping to find a job that aligned with my aspirations. However, after graduation, I faced a harsh reality—I struggled to secure a job despite my continuous efforts. This period was filled with frustration and uncertainty about my future.

Over time, I began to consider redirecting my career path toward a more stable field that would allow me to make a positive impact on society. I have always enjoyed working with children and found great fulfillment in helping others learn. That was when I realized that pursuing a degree in primary education was the right choice for me. This path would enable me to integrate my technical skills into developing modern teaching methods that contribute to shaping a new generation of learners.

Challenges in Pursuing Education

Returning to school was not an easy decision. I faced significant financial challenges, as it was difficult to afford another degree after having already invested so much in my previous studies. Additionally, I encountered a psychological challenge in accepting the idea of starting over, especially after spending years studying a completely different field.

Another major challenge was adapting to the nature of educational subjects, which were quite different from those in Computer Information Systems. I had to learn teaching methods, educational psychology, and strategies for working with children—all new concepts for me. However, I was determined to succeed. I began seeking volunteer opportunities in schools to gain practical experience and enhance my teaching skills.

The Impact of Financial Assistance on My Life and Future

Financial assistance would be a turning point in my life, allowing me to complete my studies without the constant worry about tuition fees. This support would enable me to focus more on academic achievement and attend training courses that would further develop my teaching abilities.

Professionally, this opportunity would allow me to graduate without the burden of financial debt, giving me a strong start in my career as a teacher. Obtaining a degree in primary education would significantly increase my employment prospects, especially as the demand for qualified teachers with modern teaching skills continues to grow.

A Motivating Experience That Drives Me Forward

One of the experiences that truly motivated me to pursue this field occurred during my volunteer work at a school. I was assisting a student who struggled with reading and felt discouraged because he could not keep up with his classmates. I worked with him using innovative teaching methods, and over time, I noticed a remarkable improvement in his skills and confidence. One day, he read an entire paragraph fluently without hesitation, and the joy in his eyes was indescribable. That moment reaffirmed my passion for teaching—I wanted to be the reason children experience such transformative success.

Although my journey began in a different field, I have come to realize that education is where I truly belong. The challenges I have faced were valuable lessons that contributed to my growth and learning. I am committed to pursuing my dream of becoming an impactful teacher. With the financial assistance and support I aspire to receive; I will be able to achieve this goal and contribute to building a brighter educational future for the children who will become tomorrow’s leaders.
