After enduring unimaginable hardship and continuing their studies with resilience and determination, they have completed their medical education. Yet because of outstanding tuition balances, they are unable to receive their official graduation certificates, register for their medical licensure examinations, or begin their internship and residency training.
Without settling these remaining fees, everything they have sacrificed for — the sleepless nights, the financial strain on their families, the perseverance through crisis — risks being placed on hold. Their path toward becoming practicing physicians may be delayed indefinitely, not because of a lack of merit or commitment, but because of financial barriers beyond their control.

Urgent Campaign for Gaza Medical Students
Empowering Future Doctors – Phase II
Today, we are launching a renewed campaign aimed at supporting ten medical students from Gaza currently studying at Zagazig University in Egypt. These aspiring doctors are at serious risk of having their studies interrupted due to ongoing financial hardship.
Through this initiative, ASAI once again connects compassionate donors with students in urgent need — ensuring that determination and talent are not overshadowed by circumstances beyond their control.
With nearly fifty years of impactful work, ASAI remains steadfast in its mission to harness the transformative power of education — fostering leaders, strengthening communities, and igniting hope for a brighter future.
A dedicated group of Palestinian medical students from Gaza now faces a critical challenge:
Tuition & Academic Continuity – If they are unable to pay their overdue and upcoming semester fees, their academic progress will be disrupted, placing years of study at risk.
Visa & Legal Status – Failure to maintain tuition payments may jeopardize their student residency status, leaving them in an uncertain and vulnerable position.
Completion of Training – Even after graduation, medical students must complete their Imtiaz year (mandatory clinical training) in order to qualify as licensed physicians. Without financial stability, years of sacrifice and preparation could be lost.
Supporting them today means protecting years of hard work, preserving exceptional talent, and ensuring these future doctors can one day bring healing and hope to communities in desperate need.
Support Computing Infrastructure for Gaza Universities
This is an innovative cloud computing initiative designed to overcome the educational barriers facing students in the Gaza Strip. By providing secure, fully equipped virtual computers accessible online from anywhere, the initiative eliminates the need for expensive physical computers and ensures students have reliable access to the tools and software required for academic success. In response to limited device availability, high costs, and challenging conditions, the initiative empowers students to continue their education, protect their academic futures, and build resilience through technology.
The Project:
To support engineering students at one of Gaza’s universities, Arab Student Aid International (ASAI) has launched a project providing 10 virtual machines available 24/7.
These machines deliver 1,050 usage hours per week. Depending on student needs:
105 students can benefit if each uses 10 hours per week, or
210 students can benefit if each uses 5 hours per week.
The virtual lab is built on secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure, ensuring data protection, efficiency, and reliable access for students. The cost of operating one virtual machine is approximately $35 per month.
While this initiative is already making an impact, the current capacity serves only a portion of the students. Donations will enable ASAI to add more virtual machines, scale this cost-effective solution, and extend support to additional universities across Gaza.

Any additional funds donated beyond the needs of this project will be used to support students with essential tuition costs.

Donors can choose to contribute to a general campaign, which supports multiple students, or to a specific student campaign, selecting by country, major, or field of study.
100% of donations go directly toward tuition fees—no deductions for administrative or processing costs.

Collected funds are transferred directly to verified educational institutions to cover students’ tuition fees.
No funds are given in cash to students, ensuring complete transparency
