Ridhwan Mohammad Nawaf Bani Ouda

My name is Radwan Mohamed. I am currently studying computer science at Ain Shams University in Egypt, and I have also been accepted to the University of East London in the UK. This acceptance represents a major opportunity in my academic journey—one that could open doors to world-class education and global possibilities. However, studying in the UK comes with high tuition and living expenses that are far beyond my family’s means. That is why I am seeking donor support to help make this life-changing step possible.

I am originally from the West Bank in Palestine, where daily life is marked by occupation, instability, and limited opportunities. Growing up in such an environment has shaped my determination and strengthened my belief in the power of education. My family has struggled with poverty for as long as I can remember, and the ongoing war has only made our situation more difficult. Still, I have always held tightly to one dream: to rise above these challenges through knowledge and perseverance.

Choosing to study computer science was a deliberate decision. In a world increasingly driven by technology, I see it as a tool to uplift others, to innovate solutions for underserved communities, and to give hope to those who feel forgotten. In Palestine, where so many young people have limited access to education and opportunities, I want to be someone who builds digital tools that help bridge the gap—especially in areas like online education, information sharing, and community support.

Living and studying in Egypt has been a step forward, but it is not without its challenges. I work hard to stay focused on my studies despite the financial strain. The cost of education abroad, particularly in the UK, adds another layer of pressure that I cannot overcome alone. Financial support from donors would not only ease this burden but would also be a tremendous encouragement—a signal that others believe in my journey and what I hope to achieve.

One experience I will never forget happened during a power outage back home. I was preparing for an important exam, and we had no electricity for hours. I sat under a flashlight, reviewing my notes, refusing to let the darkness silence my efforts. That night, I promised myself that no matter how difficult the road becomes, I will not give up. Education is my light, and I will follow it wherever it takes me.

A donation to support my education is not just about covering tuition—it is about investing in a young man determined to make a difference, to use his knowledge for good, and to bring hope to others living under hardship. Thank you for considering my story and for helping students like me move forward against all odds.
