Rania Abed Ziadan Mohammed Dahman

I have a Diploma of Business and Office Practice, BA Business Administration and Professional Certificate in Accounting (AAT). Pursuing a master's degree in public management has been a dream driven by my desire to contribute to building stronger, more effective institutions in my community. I chose this field of study because I believe that well-managed public services are the backbone of any society, and in a place like Gaza—where stability and access to essential services are continuously challenged—strong leadership and governance are needed now more than ever.

Living and studying in Gaza comes with unique and often overwhelming challenges. The political instability, repeated conflicts, and severe economic difficulties affect every aspect of life, including education. Despite these obstacles, I have committed myself fully to my academic journey. I completed all my coursework with excellent grades, and I am currently working on my thesis. However, the financial burden has become an unbearable challenge. My family, like many others in Gaza, is struggling to meet basic needs due to the economic blockade and high unemployment rates. As a result, I am unable to pay the remaining university fees needed to continue and graduate.

Receiving financial assistance would have a profound impact on both my personal and professional life. It would not only allow me to complete my education but also restore hope during a time when many doors seem closed. More importantly, it would empower me to continue my mission of serving my community. My ultimate goal is to serve more Palestinian refugees within my work in humanitarian organizations, where I can help design and implement programs that improve people's lives and ensure more transparency and accountability in public administration.

A motivational experience that continues to drive me is seeing the resilience of my people, especially women, who pursue education under the most difficult conditions. Their strength reminds me daily that education is not just a personal goal—it is a collective responsibility and a form of resistance against despair. I want to be part of the change that gives others hope. Completing my studies will equip me with the tools and knowledge to participate in rebuilding and strengthening public institutions in Gaza.

Donors’ contributions are more than just financial aid—they are acts of solidarity and belief in our potential. Your support can make a real difference by helping students like me continue their education and eventually give back to our communities. I am determined to succeed, not only for myself but for everyone who believes in the power of education to change lives, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
Thank you for considering my application and for supporting students who dare to dream in the face of adversity.
