Mohammed Ameer khamees Alsaadoni

I am Mohammed Al-Saadoni, a Palestinian student studying Mechatronics Engineering at Al-Azhar University – Gaza.
I have always dreamed of becoming an engineer, contributing to the development of my community, and helping to build a better future for my country. But the war in Gaza has turned my life upside down.
Today, I live amidst endless destruction, under constant bombardment, surrounded by death on all sides. It is no longer just a war — it has become a daily struggle for survival. We have been cut off from the most basic necessities of life. Jobs have disappeared, and finding enough food has become a real challenge. We are living through a true famine — many days, we have nothing to eat, and often, we go to bed hungry.
Despite being a university student, I carry the heavy responsibility of supporting my family in these harsh conditions. I try my best to balance taking care of them while continuing my studies, but sometimes the circumstances are stronger than me. Because of the war and the loss of income, I have accumulated large unpaid tuition fees, and now my education is at risk of coming to a halt.
I am not only asking for financial assistance — I am asking for a chance to continue my journey toward achieving my dream, to become an engineer who can serve my country and help rebuild Gaza. Supporting me today is not just supporting one person; it is supporting an entire family and investing in a young man who still dreams of a brighter future for his people.
