Majd Zawahra
I hope this message finds you in good health.
I am Majd Ashraf Mousa Zawahra, a second-year midwifery student at Bethlehem University in Palestine. I was born and raised in Palestine. To introduce myself in simple words, I am a girl who loves studying. I have dedicated all my previous years to working hard in my studies and exerting all my effort to excel and make my parents proud of their little girl. I have always been among the top students in my school and have received many certificates and awards.
I chose Bethlehem University to pursue my long-held dream, and with God’s help, I am racing and working hard to achieve it. I applied for this scholarship due to the difficult economic conditions we are experiencing in Palestine because of the war, which has caused my father and older brother to stop working since October 7th. This was the only source of income I relied on to pay for my university fees. My father’s income has been stagnant for more than eleven months.
I hope to complete my studies and graduate to become a supportive hand for my country and an active member of my community, helping women and children. I also aspire to pursue a doctorate in my field, which I have always dreamed of. In the end, no matter how harsh the circumstances may be, we will strive and do our utmost to be the outstanding generation that, despite challenges, managed to reach its goals and contribute to building its community.

تحية طيبة وبعد أتمنى أن تصل رسالتي وأنتم بأحسن حال . أنا الطالبة مجد أشرف موسى زواهرة طالبة قبالة سنة ثانية أدرس في جامعة بيت لحم في فلسطين ، مكان الولادة : فلسطين ، عشت وترعرت بها ، سأعرف عن نفسي بكلمات بسيطة أنا فتاة تعشق الدراسة وقضيت كل سنوات السابقة أجتهد بدراستي وأبذل كل جهدي لأتميز ولأساعد والدي لكي يكونوا فاخرين بفتاتهم الصغيرة وكنت دائمًا من المتفوقين في مدرستي وحصلت على شهادات وجائزت كثيرة ، وأخترت جامعة بيت لحم لأكمل حلمي الذي طالما حلمت به وها أنا بعون الله أسابق وأجتهد لأصل إليه ، قدمت على هذه المنحة بسبب الأوضاع الاقتصادية الصعبة التي نمر بها في فلسطين بسبب الحرب ، التي بسببها توقف أبي وأخي الكبير عن العمل منذ سابع من أكتوبر ، وكان هذا المصدر الوحيد الذي أسدده به رسومي الجامعي ، عمل والدي ودخله متوقف منذ أكثر من إحدى عشر. شهر ، أتمنى أن أستطيع أن أكمل دراستي وأتخرج لأكون يد داعمة لوطني وعنصر فعال في مجتمعي لأساعد النساء والاطفال وأدعمها وأتمنى أن أستطيع أن أكمل الدكتوراه في تخصصي الذي طالما حلمت به ، وفي نهاية مهما كانت الظروف قاسية سنسعى ونبذل أقصى جهد لنكون الجيل المتفوق الذي رغم الظروف أستطاع أن يصل الى هدفه ويساهم في بناء مجتمعه . مجد زواهرة
