I, Abeer Hikmat Ali Beit Azzam, am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory sciences at the Arab American University, with an expected graduation date of October 2027.
I have always been a diligent and persistent student, committed to academic excellence and expanding my knowledge. My ambition drives me to achieve the highest levels of success in my field, both theoretically and practically. For me, earning a bachelor's degree is just the beginning; I aspire to pursue a master's degree in molecular Genetics and Genetic Toxicology, and ultimately a Ph.D. to fulfill my academic dreams and make significant contributions in my field.
Throughout my academic journey, I have been known for my dedication, willingness to assist others, and strong teamwork skills. I am proactive, responsible, and eager to share constructive knowledge while fulfilling my tasks to the best of my ability. These qualities have been evident since my early school years and continue to shape my university experience.
However, my educational journey is currently at risk due to financial challenges. I am struggling to secure the tuition fees required to enroll in my second-year courses. The cost per credit hour is 59 Jordanian Dinars, making the total tuition fee for the upcoming semester 1,064 JOD. Without timely payment, I will not be able to register for my classes, which will severely impact my academic progress.
Adding to the financial burden, my younger sister is also studying at the same university in her first year, with a tuition fee of 4,300 shekels. The priority given to her fees has made it even more difficult for my family to support my education.
Despite these challenges, I have maintained an excellent academic record, with a GPA of 3.47 in the first semester, 3.90 in the second semester, and 3.93 in the summer semester, resulting in a cumulative GPA of 3.77 after completing 38 credit hours out of the required 132.
Given the economic and social difficulties our family faces, with scarce job opportunities and minimal income that barely covers basic living expenses, I sincerely request your support in obtaining a scholarship or financial aid. Your assistance will enable me to continue my education, achieve my aspirations, and contribute positively to society.
