An IT Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and a seasoned professional with a master’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He has worked with industry leaders like Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, and GE, earning numerous awards for his IT expertise.

Beyond his career, he is actively involved in domestic and international community service. He has helped establish local organizations and centers and has supported international initiatives, including contributions to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. His dedication to both his profession and community service defines his impactful career.

Alaa Sabbagh is a Palestinian from Tulkarem. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Law from Birzeit University. Alaa is an expert and consultant in local economic development, she has received numerous awards in various sectors, including the Creative Youth Entrepreneurs Award. In addition, she has represented Palestine at several conferences abroad.

Prof. Ishaq Y. Al-Qutub -

President

One of the founders of ASAI, graduated from Michigan State University in 1966 in Sociology. Taught for 33 years at universities in Jordan, Kuwait, and Canada. Published 32 articles and 3 books. A trainer in monitoring and evaluation. Attended 20 national and International Conferences. Member of 5 professional associations.

Vice President

Hussam Qutub, has close to 30 years’ experience as business development professional supporting US companies entering Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets. He had supported over 300 US companies launch products across MENA as well as advising US State Government of Ohio. He is knowledgeable in trade agreements, export/import legislation and regulatory framework. Has MBA in International Business and Logistic and have studied Commercial Law.

Born in 1940 in Yazour Palestine received M.A. in 1964 and PhD at Ain Shams University (Egypt). He taught at 10 universities in USA, Middle east, north Africa, & Europe. He participated n about 60 seminars and dialogue groups in 45 countries. He Chaired and organized several international conferences in Jordan, Kuwait, USA, Switzerland, Tunisia & Morocco. In 2016 he was a key speaker at the annual Economic Conference in Seoul, South Korea. He is member of the Board of Directors of 17 International Organizations, he has professional activity with Howard University. He Published 14 Books in English and 6 are ready to be published, as well as 33 Books in Arabic Language.

Sami Jamil Jadallah -

International legal and business consultant

Sami is an international legal and business consultant and manager of wide range of projects from construction, to hospitality, to aviation, technology, defense, environment and conservation with more than 55 years in the US, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, France, UK, and for the last years in Morocco. Sami was/is active in philanthropy and non-profits as co-founder and board member of the United Palestinian Appeal, Inc., and is a board member of the Arab Student Aid International. Sami is finally retiring and returning home to Fairfax, VA.
Sami is graduate of Indiana University, with BA in Political Science and Middle East Studies, MPA from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs and Jurist Doctor from Indiana University Law School.
