At Arab Student Aid International (ASAI), we believe in the transformational power of education as a catalyst for change. By fostering knowledge, innovation, and leadership, we aim to create a generation that can shape a better future, build strong communities, and drive progress through education. We achieve this by offering 0% interest student loans, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder ambition, talent, or potential.
ELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS
This program is exclusively for Master’s (MA/MS) and PhD candidates.
0% interest loan requirements:
- Enrolled at an accredited university in a Master's or PhD program.
- Citizen of an Arab country.
- Valid passport or National ID.
- Completed one semester in MA or PhD (minimum 12 credit hours).
- GPA of B (Very Good) , (80%) , (3.0) or above.
- Provide an official transcript of completed semesters, confirmed by the university registrar.
- Provide two guarantors (one relative and one non-relative). Both guarantors must submit all documents (Passport or National ID , verification of income, utility bills). Check Guarantor Requirements.
- Student will commit to loan repayment within 6 months after graduation.
LOAN REGULATIONS
- ONLY one member of the immediate family can apply for the loan.
- After full repayment, a consideration can be allocated to another member of the family if qualified.
- Priority is given to students in Applied Sciences, Pure Sciences, and Social Sciences programs.
- Aid is allocated ONCE per academic year and can be renewed only ONCE.
- Funds are sent directly to the university. Can't be used for travel expenses, summer studies, or language programs.
- Applicants with foreign citizenship or green cards are not eligible for loans but can explore opportunities through our crowdfunding platform.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
- November 15th for Spring semester.
- July 31st for Fall semester.
Fund for approved application, will be sent directly to the university by Aug 15th for Fall semester & Jan 15th for Spring semester.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Steps to Apply:

- 2. Complete your application and submit the required documents.
- 3. Student will be updated on his application status within six weeks of submission date.

LOAN REPAYMENT
Our interest-free student loans operate on a sustainable model where each graduate’s repayment contributes to supporting new students.
- Repayment is mandatory for all loan recipients.
- It is considered a Sadaqa Jareya (charitable ongoing blessing).
- By repaying your loan, you enable future students to pursue their education.
START DATE
- Begins 6 months after graduation
DURATION
- Maximum of 5 years
NO EXEMPTIONS
- All recipients must repay their loans
